Botticelli chocolates have been off the Struck radar for a few months. We buttoned up on the design, and sent our satisfied client on their way to impress retailers midway through 2008. Well friends, Botticelli is back on the radar for Christmas inside Walgreen’s corner markets. This photo depicts the product placement on the front kiosk as you walk in the front automatic sliding-glass door (right next to the Steven King novels). So here is your prescription for your next chocolate fix. Swing on over to Walgreen’s and have them fill it with the Botticelli Classic Collection.

So… apparently, there’s a strong group of Callejeros who hit the pavement every Monday night at Kapiolani Park in Honolulu. One of the young street soccer aficionados decided he’d show his brand allegiance with a Halloween costume more radical than any other. Pint-sized brand evangelism. And probably the first time a Struck-designed logo has been humanized. We couldn’t be more proud.

We are creating a stop motion piece for an upcoming banner project. The piece requires a cellphone to disassemble itself revealing it’s inner workings. To create accurate storyboards we wanted to take apart some phones to reference the insides. We could have bought a screwdriver to do the job, but Adam L was angry that day and thus the carnage began.

So the Interactive Struckers are known for some pretty radical microsites, but they definitely don’t slouch when it comes to rich media banners either. Struck has an illustrious history of some killer banners. Whether it be fun Flash games, trippy kinematic motion, or faux 3D taken to new heights—these banners don’t disappoint.
So check out what we’re calling our “banner hub” and see a little portfolio of some of the coolest banners we’d designed and developed throughout the years. You can also get to it from the sub-menu of the Struck site’s Work section as well. Shmenjoy!

Peder and the Printastics have been working their sweet little fingers to bone lately, crafting some super smooth new identities for companies young and old. One of the most demanding (and rewarding) projects has been for a nutritional company, LifeMax. Needless to say, the magnet boards are jam-packed with sketches, scrap, revisions and spectacularly discarded ideas.
This snapshot delivers a pretty potent illustration of the work that goes into creating “just a logo.” Sometimes brilliance and creativity are really just a heckuva lotta hard work.

Our favorite baby Columbian Man returned home to daddy(STRUCK) this week and we couldn’t be happier. Arnold “Arne Asada” rejoined the print team after a quick mental cleanse out in Minneapolis and is so full of life and spirit we just had to share it. Welcome home San Marteeen- HUGS FOR EVERYONE. It’s been a long-time Struck dream to do some design and advertising for MINI. And we recently launched the fruits of our labors: the MINI Carfun Footprint Calculator. “What is a Carfun Footprint?” you might ask… Well, it’s a unit of measurement that pits your car’s fun factor against its environmental impact. This is an actual quantitative number calculated by a combination of legitimate sources. And once the facts were in, guess which car came out on top? Yep, the MINI Cooper Hardtop has the ultimate combo of fun + green on the road today!

BSSP developed a killer concept and Struck was responsible for the final design, 3D, motion graphics and development of the Flash app itself. We’re so stoked on the killer 3D, texturing and motion that the team cranked out. The most amazing thing about this Flash app is that the entire experience is developed to be delivered through a massive rich-media banner buy. To our knowledge, this is one of the most complete online experiences ever delivered through a banner.
Prior to design and development, we motored on over to MINI of Murray to shoot a brand new Hot Chocolate Clubman S. We gathered textures and reference shots for the 3D work we’d be throwing down.

We recently launched our GM Used Car Ambush site with Mullen and its getting quite a bit of attention. So, we figured it would be a good idea to give everyone a peek into how much work it took to put a site like this together. What you’re not going to see in this little Behind the Scenes post is our development team with singed retinas at 3 in the morning or Jon wielding a cutting torch instead of hucking at Snowbird on a Saturday morning. Definitely not FCC approved. Or GM Certified for that matter. Seriously, it was some very committed work on our end and some true collaboration with Mullen. We’re all really proud of it.
Regardless of the current decline of the auto industry (especially the Big 3) and the eventual move to a more sustainable fuel source, this site has some very cool details and we’re doing some things here in Flash that are completely unique. Thats how we roll…

so…how to explain this image…(ahem), well, we just finished up a site with Wieden+Kennedy and Old Spice. we were fortunate enough to hang out on the set as the professionals from Stan Winston (Terminator, Jurassic Park, Aliens) brought the idea to life. you see, this new product from OS is two things…a centaur is two things…ok, ok, you know where this is going. take a look at some of the other bottom halves on the site. it’s kind of funny.
huge collaboration with Digital Domain, Kamp Grizzly and w+k to make this site happen. good stuff.
